In 1990, KARE hosted a reunion of Twin Cities kids show hosts on their Between Friends show, broadcast on November 2, 1990. This vintage video comes to us from the wonderful people at TCMediaNow, who are working to preserve the broadcast history of Minneapolis/St. Paul television. Please visit their YouTube page to see a wonderful legacy of broadcasts.
Darryl Laub started as Skipper Daryl and J. P. Patches on WTCN, and later Captain Daryl and T.N. Tatters on KSTP. John Gallos and Allan Lotsberg were Clancy the Cop and his sidekick Willie Ketchem. And of course, Roger Awsumb was Casey Jones. This wonderful reunion of these hosts (and friends) brings back a lot of stories from their times in the early days of television.
